The Nigeria Police Force will commence the screening exercise for applicants seeking recruitment as constables in Bauchi State on Monday.

The Commissioner of Police in the state, Aliyu Sani-Omolori, disclosed that the exercise would take place at the Police Training School Bauchi.

According to a statement issued on Thursday by the Command’s Police Public Relations Officer, Nafiu Habib, the announcement was made on behalf of the Inspector-General of Police, Olatunji Disu.

The statement explained that the screening is for candidates of Bauchi State origin who successfully completed the online recruitment registration.

“The exercise will hold between March 9, 2026 and April 18, 2026 at the Police Training School (PTS), Bauchi, starting from 7 a.m. daily,” the statement said.

Applicants were advised to visit the recruitment portal to confirm their application status and print required documents ahead of the screening.

These include the guarantor’s form, application submission slip, invitation slip, credentials screening form and physical screening form.

The command added that candidates must also present their invitation slip showing their assigned table, an original National Identity Number printout or card issued by the National Identity Management Commission, O’Level certificate, birth certificate or declaration of age, and a Local Government or state of origin certificate.

Other required documents include trade test certificates for specialist applicants and a duly completed guarantor’s form accompanied by photocopies and passport photographs of referees.

According to the statement, applicants must present both original and duplicate copies of their credentials, neatly arranged in two separate white flat files with recent passport photographs attached.

Candidates were also directed to appear at the venue on the date indicated on their invitation slips, dressed in white canvas shoes, white T-shirts, white shorts and white stockings.
