Popular islamic scholar Sheikh Dahiru Bauchi dies at 100

Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi, one of Nigeria’s most respected Islamic scholars, has passed away at the age of over 100 after a prolonged illness, family sources confirmed on Wednesday.

Known for his deep knowledge of the Qur’an and Islamic jurisprudence, Sheikh Bauchi dedicated his life to religious education, preaching, and community service.

He led a simple and disciplined lifestyle, emphasizing piety, scholarship, and guidance for generations of students and followers across Nigeria.
