Scores of youths took to the streets in Asaba, the Delta State capital, on Tuesday, to protest the February 25 presidential and National Assembly elections in the country.
The protesters were chanting the name of the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi.
The youths, in a video circulating on social media, said Obi, a former governor of Anambra State, must be Nigeria’s President.

“This is happening live in Asaba now. Obi must be the president of Nigeria whether they like it or not,” one of the protesters said.
There have been several reactions to the conduct of the just concluded general election, with former President Olusegun Obasanjo calling for the cancellation of the polls over alleged malpractice.
