‘Pussy nigga’: Wizkid slams Burna Boy over fight with DJ Tunez

Popular Nigerian singer Wizkid has lashed out at his colleague, Burna Boy, following the latter’s recent altercation with DJ Tunez in Lagos.

The confrontation occurred at a weekly Afrobeats party held at Obi’s House in Lagos on Monday, April 6, 2026.

A heated exchange between Burna Boy and DJ Tunez turned physical, with members of Burna Boy’s entourage joining the scuffle before onlookers stepped in to restore calm.

Although the cause of the dispute remains unclear, speculation suggests the clash may be linked to lingering industry rivalry, particularly DJ Tunez’s close affiliation with Wizkid.

After the incident, DJ Tunez, fondly called Ogbafia, appeared to taunt Burna Boy by calling him a coward and posting “All Signs of Weakness,” a phrase seen as a dig at Burna Boy’s album ‘No Sign of Weakness’.

Burna Boy later fired back with a mocking video, dancing to Money Constant by DJ Tunez featuring Wizkid, DJ Maphorisa, and Mavo.

In the clip, he altered the lyrics from “Ogbafia dey my side” to “Ogbafia dey for ground” before theatrically falling — a move interpreted as a direct jab.

Reacting on X on Wednesday, Wizkid lashed out at Burna Boy, using harsh words to condemn the alleged attack.

“Pussy nigga Jump a dj with 10man carry diddy towel Dey dance. 😂  I never see fool like this diddy babe for my life  😂🤣,” Wizkid wrote.

The singer’s reaction appears to signal renewed tension between Wizkid and Burna Boy, who previously maintained a close relationship and collaborated on several songs.

The Nigerian DJ Association had on Tuesday announced a temporary ban on Burna Boy’s songs across its members’ playlists pending an investigation into the incident.

“Burna Boy music is temporarily out of any of our DJs’ playlists till further notice,” the group said, adding that an investigation into the incident has commenced.
