The management of North West University, Sokoto State, says the institution has not started admission for the 2022/2023 academic session.
The Registrar of the university, Umar Babba, made this known via a statement issued on Friday.
Babba, who warned admission seekers against scammers’ tricks and avoid being duped, urged them to disregard reports on the commencement of the university’s 2022/2023 admission exercise.
“We wish to notify the general public that North West University has not commenced admission of students into various academic programs.

“We however note that a certain North West University Sokoto, has placed notice of admission on a website…
“We wish to categorically state that this is not only fake but a scam intended to dupe unsuspecting public who have desire to study at the university.
“Preparations are on top gear to commence admission in September for which details of the application process would be wildly publicised and authentic website of the University be made known,” the Registrar stated.
