Hoodlums attack Oyetola’s wife’s convoy in Osun

Suspected hoodlums have attacked the convoy of Osun State Governor’s wife, Kafayat Oyetola, injuring some security operatives.

It was gathered that the convoy of the governor’s wife was attacked at about 8 p.m. on Friday at Owode-Ede in Ede South Local Government Area of Osun State.

The incident was said to have caused panic in the area after the security operatives attached to the to convoy engaged the assailants in shootout.

It was learnt that security operatives shot severally to the air to disperse the hoodlums who were hauling stones and other dangerous weapons at the Osun First Lady’s convoy.

An eyewitness disclosed that some of the security operatives were injured, adding that they shattered the glasses of the vehicles.

The incident was confirmed by the media aide of the governor’s wife, Iluyomade Oluwatumise.

She, however, failed to disclose the number of security aides injured.
