The House of Representatives committee probing the alleged fictitious Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council (PFIPC) has identified 58 bank accounts and 12 agencies and entities allegedly connected to the council’s Director-General, Adeniyi Adeyemi.

The findings were contained in the preliminary report of the ad hoc committee released on Wednesday.

The panel, which was constituted to investigate the operations and existence of the PFIPC, said its investigation uncovered multiple financial accounts and organisations linked to Adeyemi.

The committee also faulted the Budget Office of the Federation, accusing it of allowing “institutional lapses” in the handling of matters relating to the PFIPC.

The preliminary findings form part of the committee’s ongoing investigation into the council and the activities surrounding its operations.
