The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, is currently meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari at his private residence in Daura, Katsina State.
Katsina State Governor, Aminu Masari, is also at the closed-door meeting in Daura.
The Star had reported that Tinubu was scheduled to brief President Buhari on his chosen running mate ahead of the 2023 general election.
It was gathered that has chosen a Muslim as his running mate for the 2023 general election.
A credible source in the Tinubu Campaign Organisation, who spoke on condition of anonymity, confirmed this to NAN in Abuja on Sunday.

The source disclosed that Tinubu would make the name of the candidate public this week.
The two-term former governor of Lagos State won APC’s presidential ticket at the party’s June 8 special national convention and presidential primary election.
After the election, the APC National Leader immediately embarked on a series of thank you and reconciliation visits to those who contested against him at the party’s primaries including the seven aspirants who stepped down for him.
He later chose Ibrahim Kabiru Masari as the APC’s “placeholder” vice-presidential candidate.
Tinubu was away in France from June 27 on a short vacation during which he held some strategic meetings.
He, however, returned to Nigeria in the early hours of Saturday.
