A former Senate President, Dr Bukola Saraki, says the disagreement between the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, and his allies (G-5 governors) will soon be resolved.
Saraki stated this in llorin, the Kwara State capital on Monday while speaking with newsmen at the 10th remembrance prayer for his late father, Dr Olusola Saraki.
Governor Wike and his associates have since been calling for the resignation of the PDP National Chairman, Iyorchia Ayu, as a condition for them to campaign for Atiku.
They argued that all the top positions in the party are being occupied by northerners, stressing that Ayu, who is from the North-Central, should resign as a concession to the South.
However, Saraki, a former governor of Kwara State, said: “PDP will surprise Nigerians. We are going to work together to better the lot of Nigeria.

The prayer which was led by the Chief lmam of llorin, Mohammed Bashir, was attended by several eminent personalities from all walks of life.
