President Bola Tinubu had on Tuesday nominated Musa as the new Minister of Defence.
Tinubu, in a letter to Senate President Godswill Akpabio, conveyed Musa’s nomination as the successor to Mohammed Badaru Abubakar, who resigned on Monday.

Senate Leader Opeyemi Bamidele, in a statement issued by his Directorate on Media and Public Affairs on Tuesday, said the former CDS would be screened on Wednesday.
