The governorship aspirant of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kaduna State, Shehu Sani, has polled 02 votes in the gubernatorial primary election held in the state on Wednesday.
This is just as the aspirant said he has received over 300 calls from PDP delegates claiming they were the two delegates who voted for him at the governorship primary election.
Sani, a former Senator, who represented Kaduna Central at the Senate, polled 02 votes in the primary election, losing to Isa Ashiru, who garnered 414 votes.
The Returning Officer, Mr Raymond Dabo, a former Plateau State PDP Chairman, also announced that Sani Sidi came second with 260 votes, while Muktar Yero came third with 28 votes.
Other aspirants including Sani Abbas, Haruna Sa’eed, and Shehu Sani recorded 15, 11 and 02 votes respectively.

However, Sani, who took to his verified Twitter handle on Thursday, wrote: “Two delegates voted for me without paying them kobo; But I have received over 300 calls from different delegates claiming that they are the two that voted for me and want to come and see me…See me se wahala abeg.”
Earlier, the former federal lawmaker congratulated Ashiru, saying: “The Kaduna PDP governorship primaries has been concluded. I lost and Honourable Isah Ashiru won.
“I wish to congratulate him. Two delegates voted for me without giving them a dime; unfortunately, I don’t know who they are, so that I can appreciate these clean votes. We look forward,” Sani stated.
