Nigerian rapper Speed Darlington has called for a boxing match against fellow artiste Burna Boy, saying he wants to settle their long-running dispute in the ring.
Speaking with Nevo Media, Speed Darlington said he would like to face Burna Boy after his proposed bout with comedian and streamer Carter Efe.
The rapper said a fight with the Grammy-winning singer would be a major personal highlight for him, citing the previous controversy between them and his arrest.
“The plan is after I finish with Carter Efe, I hope they can make it happen. I want Burna Boy next so I can offload all my anger on him,” he said.
“That would be sweet, that would be the highlight of this year.
“He had me locked up, that’s what he did to me. That’s the deal, I can’t forgive that. Even after the fight, we are still enemies for life.”
Speed Darlington and Burna Boy have been involved in a public dispute for several years, with the rapper previously making allegations involving the singer before being arrested in connection with the controversy.
His latest comments come as he prepares for a proposed boxing showdown with Carter Efe, potentially setting the stage for another celebrity bout involving the rapper.
