The Super Falcons of Nigeria have arrived in Abuja, the nation’s capital, after winning the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) in Morocco.
The Super Falcons landed with the trophy at the Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport in Abuja at about 2:26 p.m. on Monday, July 28, 2025.
The team won the 10th WAFCON title after defeating hosts Morocco 3-2 on Saturday night.

The Super Falcons are expected to have an open-bus parade around Abuja with the newly won trophy.
The victory parade route will take the players through Airport Road, the Berger junction, the Maitama and Wuse Market areas, and finally to the Presidential Villa.
