The Supreme Court has upheld the election of Ahmed Aliyu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the governor of Sokoto State.
Delivering judgement on Thursday, January 25, 2024, Justice Tijani Abubakar dismissed the appeal by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its governorship candidate, Saidu Umar.
