Supreme Court Justice, Chima Centus Nweze, is dead

A judge in the Supreme Court, Justice Chima Centus Nweze, is dead.

It was gathered that Justice Nweze died on Sunday, July 30, 2023, at the age of 64.

The Supreme Court has yet to speak on Nweze’s death as of the time of filing this report.

Justice Nweze, a native of Obollo in Udenu Local Government Area of Enugu State, was born on September 25, 1958.

He delivered the controversial judgement of the Supreme Court which declared the immediate past Senate President, Ahmad Lawan, as the authentic candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for Yobe North Senatorial District in the February 25, 2023, general election.
