Terrorists attack army base in Niger

Terrorists have attacked a Nigerian Army base serving as a holding facility for hundreds of terrorism suspects undergoing a special trial process in Niger State.

It was gathered that the army base in Wawa, Borgu Local Government Area of Niger State was attacked by the terrorists on Saturday night.

The base is where the Nigerian Air Force operates a Training Group housing Alpha jets and the American built A-29 Super Tucanos.

However, further details on the incident have yet to be ascertained as of the time of filing this report.
