Damilola Osinubi, the victim of an alleged hit and run accident involving Nigerian singer, Inetimi Timaya Odon, widely known as Timaya, has finally spoken about the incident.

Timaya had earlier been accused of hitting a lady around Ikate in the Lekki area of Lagos State last Wednesday.

He was later arrested by the operatives of the Lagos State Police Command.

An Instagram user, Osinubi Omowunmi, had accused Timaya of hitting her sister, adding that the popular singer absconded after the incident.

Omowunmi, on her Instagram page, @whyte_26, alleged that Timaya hit her sister’s car and when he was confronted, he also hit the victim.

She added that she tried to reach the hip-hop artiste after the incident but the singer blocked them on Instagram.

Timaya had denied the allegation, noting that he visited the family of the victim and never tried to escape from the scene of the accident.

However, days after the accident, the victim has recalled her part of the story.

Osinubi, who took to her Instagram page on Tuesday, said Timaya, after hitting her on March 2, absconded and left “me in my own pool of blood”.

She added that the popular singer, who was driving through one way in his green G-wagon, hit her jeep on the driver side and damaged her car in the process.

Osinubi, in a lengthy post on her Instagram page, said the ‘Dem Mama’ crooner, after hitting her, refused to stop until he was held up in traffic.

She stated that Timaya wasn’t remorseful about his actions when she approached him.

She added that the singer only asked for her phone number, which she refused to give as she was not sure if it would yield any meaning result.

The victim stated: “He then rolled up again and I thought he wanted to park well to come down and see the damage he has caused. Then I wanted to turn to the other side right in front of his G-Wagon then this so-called celebrity zoomed off with his G-Wagon by knocking me down.

“Not only that he dragged me on the road where I sustained injuries on my face, my two knees, my right hand, all my acrylics nails forcefully pulled out before I know it he ran away leaving me in my own pool of blood.

“Then passers-by rushed me to a nearby pharmacy where I managed to call my husband before I was later taken to Redington Hospital where I received about 15 stiches on my face and other treatment was administered before I was later discharged later in the evening and was taken to General hospital for further treatment.

“While I was receiving treatment my sister @whyte_26 reached out to him via IG platform after reading the message he blocked her.

“How can you tell the whole world you didn’t notice you hit a car? I knocked on your side window to draw your attention only for you to bully me as a woman. You eventually carried out your threats and ran away.

“Seven days after the event you’re yet to apologize to me in person or even feel remorseful, but rather you’re posting no pressure while am in pain. I know I am imperfect being but this does not justify the stupid intentional act you made.”

Osinubi added: “Timaya Inetimi @timayatimaya you are wicked and heartless. You painted your wicked act of hit and run with emotion. Thank God (to those) that called you out if not you won’t tender apology to your fan.

“Your conscience will continue to judge you cause you intentionally hit me off with your green G-wagon boasting that you are a celebrity. Your lawyer came and sympathize with me in general hospital at about 10:30p.m. and your lawyer said this is too much for someone to let it slide.

“The pains you inflicted on me by your recklessness and no respect for womanhood. The permanent scar you inflicted on me intentionally. All I want is justice as he isn’t feeling remorse because he should not go scot free to serve as deterrent to others.”
