President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of former Kastina State Governor Aminu Masari, as the new chairman of the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund) board.
Others appointed as board members include Senator Sani Danladi, Sunday Adepoju, Nurudeen Adeyemi, Esther Onyinyechukwu Ukachukwu, Turaki Ibrahim, and Aboh Eduyok.
The appointments were announced via a statement issued by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, on Tuesday, August 6, 2024.

Ngelale noted that Tinubu expects the new members of the TETFund board to be dedicated and committed to driving Fund’s objective of providing the needed support for tertiary education with a view to enhancing the productivity and quality of higher education.
