President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has arrived in Maiduguri, Borno State, for a one-day official visit to inaugurate key projects.
The presidential aircraft touched down at the Nigerian Air Force wing of the Maiduguri International Airport at about 12:58 p.m. on Saturday.
The President was welcomed by Borno State Governor Babagana Zulum, his deputy Usman Kadafur, Senator Ali Modu Sheriff, members of the National and State Houses of Assembly, and other senior government officials.
During the visit, President Tinubu is scheduled to proceed to Ramat Square, where he will inaugurate a fleet of vehicles for distribution.
He is also expected to commission the Bola Ahmed Tinubu Secondary School along Shehu Palace Road, alongside other completed projects across the state.
