Tinubu confirms Adeniyi’s appointment as Customs boss

President Bola Tinubu has approved the confirmation of the appointment of Adewale Adeniyi as the Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Customs Service.

This was made known in a statement issued by the spokesman of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Willie Bassey, on Friday, October 20, 2023.

Bassey noted that the appointment of Adeniyi took effect from October 19, 2023, saying his tenure is in accordance with the extant provisions of the Public Service Rules (PSR).

He quoted President Tinubu as tasking the Custome boss to bring his wealth of experience to bear on his new assignment.
