President Bola Tinubu will depart Abuja on Thursday, September 4, 2025, to commence a working vacation in Europe, as part of his 2025 annual leave.
The Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, announced this in a statement issued on Thursday.
Onanuga noted that the vacation will last 10 working days.
He added that Tinubu will spend the period between France and the United Kingdom and then return to Nigeria.
Tinubu returns to Abuja after Japan, Brazil trips
The Star recalls that Tinubu returned to Abuja last Thursday, August 28, following trips to Japan and Brazil.
The president departed Nigeria on August 15, stopped over in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and arrived in Yokohama, Japan, on August 18.
He departed Japan for Brazil on August 21, with a stopover in Los Angeles, United States, before continuing his journey to Brasilia, the capital of Brazil.
Tinubu, thereafter, departed Brazil on August 27 following his state visit, which the presidency said focused on strengthening relations between Nigeria and Brazil.
In April 2025, Tinubu spent 19 days in France and the UK on private visits.
