President Bola Tinubu is currently meeting with the newly appointed service chiefs at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
The meeting on Monday comes a few days after Tinubu sacked the former service chiefs in a major shake-up of Nigeria’s military leadership.
The Presidency disclosed that the new service chiefs are in the State House for a crucial meeting with the president.

Those at the meeting include the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), Lieutenant General Olufemi Oluyede; the Chief of Defence Intelligence, Major General Emmanuel Akomaye Parker Undiandeye; the Chief of Army Staff, Major General Waidi Shaibu; the Chief of Naval Staff, Rear Admiral Idi Abbas; and the Chief of Air Staff, Air Vice Marshal Sunday Kelvin Aneke.
