President Bola Tinubu has returned to the country after a two-week private visit to Paris, France.
The President arrived Abuja aboard the presidential flight at about 9 p.m. on Tuesday, February 6, 2024.
Tinubu was received by top government officials including the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume; his Chief of Staff, Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila; National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu and Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FTC) Nyesom Wike.

Also on hand to receive the president at the airport were Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna; Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Senator Heineken Lokpobiri and the Director-General of the Department of State Service (DSS) Yusuf Magaji Bichi.
The president left Abuja on January 24 for his first break since assumption of office on May 29, 2023.
This visit was Tinubu’s third visit to France since he became President. Two of the visits were private while one was official.
