Tompolo’s PBAT Movement intensifies grassroots mobilisation for Tinubu, deploys 500 vehicles

A pro-Tinubu political movement convened by Niger Delta leader Government Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, is set to extend its mobilisation campaign to eight additional states, bringing its reach to about 20 states ahead of the 2027 presidential election.

The PBAT Door-to-Door Movement said it would visit Enugu, Cross River, Bayelsa, Zamfara, Jigawa, Anambra, Kebbi and Abia between November 9 and 14 to strengthen grassroots support for President Bola Tinubu.

The movement also disclosed that it had distributed more than 500 vehicles to facilitate its operations and improve the mobility of coordinators across the country.

According to the programme released by the group, the mobilisation tour will begin on Monday, November 9, with engagements in Enugu at 10am at Okpara Square and Cross River at 2pm at Calabar Municipal Field.

The movement will proceed to Bayelsa on Wednesday, November 11, for a 10am engagement at Siasia Stadium, Yenagoa.

On Thursday, November 12, the campaign will visit Zamfara at 11am and Jigawa at 2pm.

The tour will continue on Friday, November 13, with engagements in Anambra at 10am and Kebbi at 2pm, before ending in Abia on Saturday, November 14, at 10am.

The group said venues for the engagements in Zamfara, Jigawa, Anambra, Kebbi and Abia were yet to be announced.

The latest exercise is part of the movement’s nationwide campaign to establish grassroots political structures at ward, local government and community levels ahead of the 2027 elections.

It said the more than 500 vehicles distributed were intended to strengthen coordination and enable its teams to reach communities, markets and neighbourhoods with messages supporting the Tinubu administration.

The movement is also focused on promoting the President’s policies and programmes, particularly economic reforms, infrastructure development, education initiatives and local government autonomy.

Its National Coordinator, Sunday Asuku, has previously stressed the need for effective grassroots coordination, community feedback and the expansion of the movement’s activities to every ward and polling unit.

The group said its mobilisation strategy was designed to build a coordinated nationwide network that would engage voters directly rather than rely solely on conventional political rallies.
