Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed the signing of Andy Robertson from Liverpool on a free transfer.
Tottenham announced the signing of Robertson via a statement on Friday.
The 32-year-old defender will sign for Spurs on July 1 once his contract at Liverpool comes to an end.
The club stated: “We are delighted to announce the signing of Andy Robertson ✍️
“A leader on and off the field, the highly decorated Scotland captain will join the club on July 1 following the expiration of his contract at Liverpool.”
Liverpool supporters waved farewell to Robertson after the 1-1 draw with Brentford on the final day of the Premier League season.
Tottenham avoided relegation to the Championship by a margin of two points, with Roberto De Zerbi now beginning to strengthen his squad with the aim of ensuring they avoid a similar struggle next season.

Marcos Senesi, another player approaching free agency as his contract at Bournemouth winds down, could also be confirmed as a Spurs player in the coming few weeks.
Talks have also taken place over the signing of Jan Paul van Hecke from Brighton, and Tottenham remain interested in Manchester City forward Savinho after failing to secure his signing last year due to Pep Guardiola deciding to keep the Brazilian.
Robertson joined Liverpool from Hull City in 2017 and was an instrumental part of the squads that won the Premier League in 2019/20 and 2024/25 and the Champions League in 2018/19.
The Scotland captain was wanted by Atletico Madrid last summer, but no move materialised.
