Uba Sani hails Tinubu for appointing Masari as SSA on political affairs

Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani, has praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for appointing Alhaji Ibrahim Kabir Masari as Senior Special Assistant on Political Affairs, describing the choice as exemplary and deserving.

Speaking on Sunday in Malumfashi, Katsina State, where he served as Special Guest of Honour at the Ibrahim Masari Foundation’s annual cash empowerment programme, Governor Sani said President Tinubu holds Masari in high regard due to his integrity and national influence.

“Across the country, Alhaji Masari is known as a good man.

“The president himself attests to his qualities. We are proud of him,” Sani said.

He added that Masari’s yearly support for indigent citizens is helping many become self-reliant and encouraged beneficiaries to use the donations prudently.

Governor Sani also commended his Katsina counterpart, Governor Umar Dikko Radda, for supporting the Masari Foundation and fostering unity in the state.

Governor Radda, in his remarks, said Katsina has benefited significantly from Masari’s presence in the presidency through federal appointments, contracts, and other dividends of democracy.

He expressed confidence that the APC remains firmly rooted in the state and will deliver votes for President Tinubu in 2027.

APC National Chairman, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, described Masari as a grassroots politician whose empowerment initiatives align with the party’s core philosophy.

He noted that with the North—especially the North-West—facing multidimensional poverty, Masari’s interventions are timely and impactful.

As part of the programme, the Ibrahim Masari Foundation disbursed N300,000 each to 1,000 small business owners across Malumfashi and Kafur local government areas.

The event was attended by Governor Uba Sani, Gombe State Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, Yobe State Governor Mai Mala Buni, APC National Working Committee members, lawmakers, and traditional rulers.
