The management of the University of Jos (UniJos) has rescheduled the examination earlier slated for Monday and Tuesday, March 31, 2026, following the attack on Angwan Rukuba community in Plateau State.
The Deputy Registrar, Information and Public Relations of UniJos, Emmanuel Madugu, announced this in a statement issued on Monday.
Madugu stated that the postponement was to ensure student safety, as part of a broader suspension of academic activities and hostel closures.
Madugu said: “The Vice-Chancellor has directed that all examinations scheduled to hold on Monday and Tuesday will be rescheduled.
“This is in view of the Sunday night attack by gunmen on residents of Angwan Rukuba and the consequential tensions it has generated in and around the area.”
