Using adult toys is not a sin, I recommend them to couples — Apostle Aghasedo

Apostle Joshua Aghasedo has stirred discussion after expressing his view that married couples may use certain adult products as part of their relationship.

Speaking on the subject, Aghasedo argued that such products could be regarded as tools intended to assist couples, drawing comparisons with everyday technological devices.

The cleric said he had never personally used such a product but maintained that modern technology could provide options that married couples might consider within the boundaries of their faith and relationship.

Aghasedo also disclosed that he had previously recommended the use of such a product to a married couple after considering their circumstances, saying his intention was to encourage them to address challenges within their marriage rather than seek relationships outside it.

He, however, emphasised that his comments were specifically about married couples and should not be interpreted as an endorsement of sexual activity outside marriage.

The cleric’s remarks have generated debate over religious interpretations of intimacy, marriage and the use of modern technology in relationships.
