VIDEO: Singer 2Baba visits Sound Sultan’s grave in U.S.

Ace Nigerian singer, Innocent Idibia, widely known as 2Baba, has paid a visit to the gravesite of his late colleague, Olanrewaju Fasasi, popularly known as Sound Sultan, in the United States.

Sound Sultan died on July 11, 2021, at the age of 44 after battling Angioimmunoblastic T-Cell Lymphoma, a type of blood cancer that starts in the white blood cells.

2Baba shared a video on his Instagram page on Monday showing his visit to the cemetery where the late singer was buried.

The ‘African Queen’ crooner, who was accompanied by his friends, paid tribute to Sound Sultan by laying flowers on the tomb.

He was later spotted squatting in front of the graveyard.

“Went to pay my respect to my brother Sound Sultan. With my brothers @emmaugolee @amfrankiej @blackahrank.

“July 11, World Sultan Day. Blessed #Grateful #Warrior. We miss u my dear friend. #SoundSultan @soundsultan. Olanrewaju fasasi. Bless up,” 2Baba captioned the video.

Sound Sultan is survived by his wife, Farida Fasasi, and three children.
