A 41-year-old woman identified by her X user Queen Cruise has gone viral online after sharing her regrets about prioritising wealth over love in her 20s, offering advice to younger women about relationship choices.
In a candid video, she admitted that she focused on finding a wealthy partner, turning down “good” men who did not meet her financial expectations.
“At my 20s, I selected a man… I said to myself I can’t settle for less. I need a rich man, a wealthy man,” she said, explaining that she believed she knew her worth at the time.
Reflecting on her current situation, she expressed sadness about being single at 41 and said she would have made different decisions if someone had advised her earlier.
She urged younger women to consider their priorities carefully in relationships and not to delay settling down if marriage and family life are important to them.
“If anybody had given me this advice earlier, I wouldn’t be where I am now—single at 41,” she said. “I was after wealth, but look at me now… searching. I feel ashamed of myself. Many women my age feel the same but don’t talk about it.”
She encouraged women in their 20s to use their youthful energy and time wisely in pursuing relationships, cautioning that finding a partner becomes increasingly difficult after 30.
“Make use of your beautiful, energetic body now,” she advised. “Don’t wait too long for the right man. Don’t let money blind you to love.”
Her message has sparked widespread discussion on social media, with many users sharing similar experiences and reflecting on the challenges of balancing personal aspirations with relationship decisions.
