What S’West, S’East, S’South get in Tinubu’s cabinet

President Bola Tinubu, on Wednesday, August 16, 2023, unveiled the portfolios of his ministers, with the South getting no fewer than 21 positions.

Nine ministers were appointed from the South-West, the South-East got five positions, while seven ministers were named from the South.

Tinubu hails from Lagos State, one of the states in the South-West geopolitical zone.

The ministers appointed from the South-West include:

  2. Minister Of State, Environment And Ecology, Ishak Salako
  3. Minister Of Finance And Coordinating Minister Of The Economy, Wale Edun
  4. Minister Of Marine And Blue Economy, Bunmi Tunji-Ojo
  5. Minister Of Power, Adebayo Adelabu
  6. Minister Of State, Health And Social Welfare, Tunji Alausa
  7. Minister Of Solid Minerals Development, Dele Alake
  8. Minister Of Tourism, Lola Ade-John
  9. Minister Of Transportation, Adegboyega Oyetola
