2023: INEC publishes names of presidential, NASS candidates

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has published the particulars of some candidates nominated by political parties for the 2023 general election.

The information was published on Friday by INEC in its offices across the country.

The particulars included those of presidential candidates, their running mates as well as senatorial and House of Representatives candidates.

The information included that of All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, and his running mate, Mr Ibrahim Masari.

It also included information on the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, and his running mate, Ifeanyi Okowa.

Others were the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi, and his running mate, Doyin Okupe; presidential candidate of Action Peoples Party (APP) Osita Nnadi, and his running mate, Isa Hamisu.

It also included the flag bearer of Peoples Redemption Party (PRP) Abiola Kolawole, and his running mate, Ribi Marshal; presidential candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, and his running mate, Johnson Oladipupo.

Others were the standard-bearer of Action Democratic Party (ADP), Yabagi Sani, and his running mate, Udo Okey -Okoro; presidential candidate, Young Progressives Party (YPP), Ado-Ibrahim Abdulmalik, and his running mate, Enyinna Kasarachi.

It also included presidential candidate African Action Congress (AAC), Omoyele Sowore, and his running mate, Garba Magashi; presidential candidate of Allied Peoples Movement (APM), Mamman Dantalle, and his running mate, Ojei Princess; presidential candidate of All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) Chukwudi Umeadi, and his running mate, Koli Mohammed.

Others were presidential candidate of Boot Party (BP), Oluwafemi Adenuga, and his running mate Turaku Mustapha; presidential candidate of Zenith Labour Party (ZLP), Daberechukwu Nwanyanwu, and his running mate, Ramalan Abubakar; presidential candidate of African Democratic Congress (ADC), Dumebi Kachikwu, and his running mate, Ahmed Mani.

Others included presidential candidate of Action Alliance (AA), Hamsa Almustafa, and his running mate, Chukwuka Johnson; among others.
