No fewer than three persons have been arrested for allegedly killing a naval officer, identified simply as Akingbohunmi, in Idoani in the Ose Local Government Area of Ondo State.
It was gathered that the naval officer died on Monday, June 26, after he was attacked following an argument with a commercial motorcyclist in the community.
It was learned that Akingbohunmi, who was rushed to the hospital after the attack, was confirmed dead by the doctor on duty.

The incident was confirmed by the Ondo State Police Public Relations Officer, Funmilayo Odunlami, on Wednesday, June 28.
Odunlami said: “Three of the suspects have been arrested and we are still on the trail of three others involved in the incident.
“The suspects will be transferred to the state headquarters soon.”
