A yet-to-be-identified middle-aged man was on Friday, March 31 carried off an Abuja to Lagos flight on Ibom Air after declaring that the President-elect, Bola Tinubu, must not be sworn in as Nigeria’s President on May 29, 2023.
The man was seen in a viral video saying Tinubu must not be sworn in as President.
The man, who stood in the middle of the plane raising his voice, said there would be “war” if the President-elect is sworn in.

The officers of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) were later called to carry off the man after holding up the aircraft for over an hour, as the 6 p.m. flight was yet to move as of 7 p.m.
“Obidients, you’re here. They are doing this to me. Obidients you’re here, I am naked. Obidients you’re here, I am going naked,” the man said as the FAAN officers carried him off the plane.
