President Bola Tinubu will depart Abuja on Thursday for Makkah, Saudi Arabia, to perform Umrah and pray for Nigeria’s peace, unity and stability.

According to a statement issued on Wednesday by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the President will use the spiritual exercise to seek divine guidance and blessings for the country and its people.

Umrah is an Islamic pilgrimage to Makkah that can be performed at any time of the year, unlike the annual Hajj.
