The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Access Holdings Plc, Herbert Wigwe, has been confirmed dead.
It was gathered that Wigwe died in a helicopter crash in California, the United States.
It was learnt that the helicopter crashed and killed him and five others on Friday, February 9, 2024.
Sources said the chopper was heading to Las Vegas when it crashed near a border city between Nevada and California on Friday night.
It was further gathered that Wigwe’s wife and son were aboard the ill-fated chopper.
The former Group Chairman of the Nigerian Exchange Group Plc (NGX Group), Abimbola Ogunbanjo, was also in the helicopter.
