Popular Yoruba comic actor, Kunle Adetokunbo, well known as Dejo Tunfulu, is dead.
Dejo Tunfulu died at the age of 49.
The demise of Dejo Tunfulu was disclosed by his colleague, Kunle Afod, via Instagram on Friday.
He wrote: “You posted this few days ago Dejo. Haaaaaaaaa.“This is so sad Pressy Tunfulu, Daddy Junior. Still can’t believe this.”
The death of the comic actor was, however, confirmed by the National President of the Theatre Arts and Motion Picture Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN), Bolaji Amusan, fondly called Mr. Latin, on Friday.
Amusan, who was in shock and emotional about the death of Dejo, said the deceased died on Thursday night.

He said the sad occurrence was shocking as the late Yoruba actor still attended a party three days ago.
“Yes, we lost Dejo Tunfulu, I am so shocked because he still attended a party three days ago.
“May God grant him eternal rest, the association will communicate to the public further,” Amusan said.
Adetokunbo is a prominent Yoruba comic actor, writer and producer.
He was born on May 31, 1972, in Idumota, Lagos Island area of Lagos State, and hails from Ikija area of Abeokuta, Ogun State.
Actor Dejo Tunfulu is known for “Hally The Drummer” (2016) and “Jide Jendo” (2020).
