Fisayo Dele-Bashiru came from the bench to score a goal as the Super Eagles of Nigeria defeated Libya 1-0 in the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2025 qualifiers on Friday.
The game was played at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo, the Akwa Ibom State capital.
The win puts the Super Eagles at the top of Group D with seven points ahead of Benin Republic (six), Rwanda (two), and Libya (one).
