The operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have arrested 93 suspected internet fraudsters in Ogun State.
The suspected internet fraudsters were arrested on Sunday, August 10, 2025.
The EFCC, in a statement, disclosed that the suspects were arrested in a sting operation in Abeokuta, the capital of Ogun State, following credible intelligence about their suspected involvement in internet crimes.

Upon their arrest, 18 vehicles and mobile devices were recovered from them.
The commission added that the suspects will be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded.
The latest arrest comes barely a few days after EFCC operatives apprehended 55 suspected internet fraudsters in the Ewekoro area of Ogun State.
