A’Ibom governor presents new SUVs to ex-deputy govs

Akwa Ibom State Governor Umo Eno has presented brand new Land Cruisers to all former deputy governors of the state.

The governor made the presentation on Thursday, September 25, 2025.

Presenting the keys of the new SUVs to the former deputy governors, Eno said the gift was in acknowledgement and appreciation of their services to Akwa Ibom State.

While saying the vehicles will go a long way to aid their mobility, Eno noted that given their sacrifices and commitment to the development of the state at one time or the other, they deserved some level of comfort.

The governor wrote on X: “I presented brand new Land Cruisers to all former Deputy Governors of Akwa Ibom State as a token of appreciation for their years of service and sacrifice.

“Their dedication has helped shape our State’s progress, and it’s only fitting they enjoy comfort as they continue to share their wisdom with us. Thank you for your service!”

Some of the deputy governors present were  Etim Okpoyo, Valerie Ebe, Moses Ekpo, and Nsima Ekere.
