APC members protest in Lagos, demand state chairman’s removal

Some aggrieved members of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) are currently protesting at the Lagos State House of Assembly complex in Ikeja, calling for the removal of the party’s chairman in the state, Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi.

The APC members, believed to be representatives across the Local Government Areas of Lagos State, were seen carrying placards with inscriptions such as “Ojelabi Must Go” and “We Want Fresh Leadership”, among others.

The protest has since drawn a significant security presence, with police officers stationed around the Assembly complex to prevent any breakdown of law and order.
