The senior pastor of Citadel Global Community Church (CGCC) and presidential aspirant, Tunde Bakare, has scored zero vote in the All Progressives Congress (APC) primaries held at Eagle Square, Abuja.

Bakare had on Tuesday night announced he would not step down from the presidential race.

He expressed confidence that he would emerged as the APC presidential candidate just as he vowed to transform the county if elected as president in the 2023 general election.

“I am not here to step down for anyone. I am here to step up as the 16th President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria,” the cleric had said.

However, as the counting of votes commenced at the primaries, Bakare scored zero vote.

The APC national leader and former governor of Lagos State, Bola Tinubu, is set to be declared as the party’s presidential candidate after leading other aspirants by a wide margin of votes.
