Four presidential aspirants of the All Progressives Congress (APC) failed to get a single vote at the convention after they paid N400 million.

When votes were counted, four of the 23 presidential aspirants polled zero vote at the convention held at Eagle Square, Abuja between Tuesday and Wednesday.

Popular Lagos pastor, Tunde Bakare, who had repeatedly said he was destined to be Nigeria’s President after President Muhammadu Buhari, got zero vote.

Former Governor of Imo State, Senator Rochas Okorocha, also failed to secure a single vote.

Both Ikeobasi Mokelu and Jack-Rich Tein also got zero vote.

The aspirants collectively paid N400 million to participate in the presidential primaries of the ruling party.

The Expression of Interest and Nomination forms of the ruling party were purchased at N100 million.

Former Governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, is projected to win the primaries with over 1,600 votes.
