APC suspends gov’s aide for bringing snake to Government House

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has suspended the Special Adviser to Kebbi State Governor Nasir Idris on Power and Politics, Kabir Sani-Giant, for bringing snake to the Government House.

Sani-Giant’s suspension was announced via a statement issued by the Kebbi APC Secretary, Sa’idu Muhammad-Kimba, on Sunday, March 2, 2025.

Muhammad-Kimba said the suspension was with immediate effect.

He disclosed that Sani-Giant, on February 8, brought a snake to the Kebbi State Government House, intimidating dignitaries, statesmen, and officials.

Muhammad-Kimba said the conduct could embarrass and discredit the APC.

He added that Sani-Giant’s actions violated APC’s constitution.

The Kebbi APC spokesman stated: “The party deemed his behaviour offensive and embarrassing.

“His suspension remains in place pending further investigation and possible disciplinary action, which could lead to expulsion if repeated.”
