Arsenal fans have been left furious after the club’s manager, Mikel Arteta, was snubbed for the Premier League Manager of the Month award.
Arteta lost out to Manchester United’s Ruben Amorim despite winning every game in October without a goal conceded.
Amorim won the award for the first time, beating Arteta, aston Villa’s Unai Emery, and Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola.
Arteta has previously won the Manager of the Month award on five occasions.
United and Arsenal both won all three games in October. It’s the first time United have managed to win three in a row under Amorim.
United defeated rivals Liverpool 2-1, while a 4-2 win over Brighton and 2-0 over Sunderland gave the Red Devils a goal difference of +5 in October.
Arsenal, meanwhile, beat West Ham 2-0, Fulham 1-0, and Crystal Palace 1-0.
During that run, goalkeeper David Raya only faced one single shot on target, from former Gunner Eddie Nketiah for Palace.
United forward Bryan Mbeumo was also named the Premier League Player of the Month for October.

Mbeumo either scored or assisted in all three of United’s victories, with wins over Sunderland and Brighton on the run too.
The Cameroon international beat Manchester City striker Erling Haaland, Arsenal defender Jurrien Timber, and Newcastle midfielder Bruno Guimaraes to win the award for the first time.
Reacting to Premier League’s post on X on Friday, a user, Musashi Takashiro, wrote: “Wow so Arteta didn’t lose a single game didn’t concede a single goal and sits top of the league without his captain, without his 3 strikers, without his backup RW, without his LW and that’s not enough to win the award? Interesting.”
AFC Dan stated: “Its probably more to the fact Arteta will win a number of Manager of the Month awards this season, however Amorim will not, so they’ll give it to him this month to break it up a bit.”
The award is decided by a combination of supporters’ votes and a panel of experts.
