Atiku, Obasanjo in closed door meeting in Abeokuta

Former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, on Saturday, met with ex-President, Olusegun Obasanjo, behind closed door at the latter’s residence in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital.

Atiku, who arrived at the former President’s penthouse residence located within the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library (OOPL), around 10am, was said to be in the state for consultation ahead of the 2023 general elections.

Atiku, who was the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate in 2019, has been rumoured to be the flag bearer of the main opposition party in the next year presidential election.
