BBNaija star, Tolanibaj, denies debt allegation, accuses TV star of withholding funds

BBNaija star and DJ, Tolanibaj, has publicly denied claims that she owes fellow reality TV star Bright .O. ₦1 million, posting alleged receipts and messages to support her stance.

The controversy began on Snapchat after a follower accused her of owing Bright .O.

In response, Tolanibaj took to social media to refute the claims, stating, “I hate being lied on, so I will unfortunately have to publicly address this matter.”

She went on to allege that Bright .O. actually owed her the money, claiming he had received ₦1 million meant for her in 2022 but never disbursed it.

Screenshots shared by Tolanibaj show her repeatedly messaging Bright .O. about the funds, expressing disappointment over his silence and lack of accountability.

“This is also the reason why I had to cut all ties with Bright O,” she said, accusing him of taking advantage of her trust.

Despite her attempts to settle the matter privately—through direct messages and Instagram—Tolanibaj said Bright .O. never responded.

She ultimately chose to let go of the money but felt the need to clear her name publicly in light of the accusations.
