Benue State Governor Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia has appointed veteran singer Innocent Idibia, widely known as 2Baba, as his Technical Adviser on Entertainment and Community Outreach.
The appointment was disclosed via a video trending on X (formerly Twitter) on Wednesday, April 23, 2025.
2Baba hails from Benue State.
Alia commended 2Baba’s enduring influence and commitment to Benue State, saying: “Let me thank you very deeply for supporting my administration and for preparing me for 2027.
