Borno governor’s media aide dies in London

Isa Gusau, the media aide to Borno State Governor, Babagana Zulum, is dead.

It was gathered that Gusau died at a hospital in London, the United Kingdom, on Thursday, January 11, 2024.

It was learnt that Gusau, who also served as the spokesman to Vice President Kashim Shettima when he was the governor of Borno State, had been on admission at the hospital for over a month over an undisclosed ailment.

The state government is however yet to speak on Gusau’s death as of the time of filing this report.

He was a former reporter with the Daily Trust Newspapers in Borno State before his appointment as media aide by Shettima.
