Boxing: Carter Efe boasts after beating Portable

Content creator and streamer Carter Efe has described his unanimous decision victory over singer Portable at the Chaos in the Ring 4 celebrity boxing event as a straightforward outing, declaring after the bout that he had outclassed his opponent from the opening round.

The match, held at the Balmoral Hall of the Federal Palace Hotel in Lagos on Friday night, ended with all three judges scoring the contest 27-30 in favour of Carter Efe, who walked away with a ₦50 million cash prize after defeating the former champion.

Speaking to journalists after the fight, a jubilant Carter Efe compared himself to international boxing royalty.

“I am feeling like an international world star. My new name is Carter Mayweather. The fight was so easy,” he said.

He further claimed he had inflicted visible damage to Portable’s face as early as the first round, leaving his opponent weakened before the final bell.
